02 about

Student. Builder.
Maker.

I'm Sreejit Pradhan — 16 y/o from India. I got obsessed with computers, taught myself to code, and never looked back. I don't wait for permission to build. If I see a problem, I ship a solution.

My focus is AI/ML at the edge — making intelligence run locally, offline, on cheap hardware. I believe powerful tools shouldn't need a data center or a subscription.

Currently mastering Python & C++, competing in hackathons, and shipping projects publicly. Still in school. Still building.

05 journey

Self-taught for years.
Walk through them.

The Beginningage 12-13

First line of code.

Started early. While others were just playing games, I wanted to know how they were built. Typed my first lines of code in C++. It was raw, complex, and completely fascinating.

The Shiftage 14-16

The Java Era.

Pivoted to Java. Spent these years understanding object-oriented programming, building solid logic, and diving deeper into how software architecture actually works.

Python & C++: The AI Era.

Back to C++ for performance, combined with Python for AI/ML. Building things like SoilSense AI on edge devices. Training models, competing in hackathons, and shipping real products.

04 manifesto
How I pick problems.
Three rules I keep returning to.
Utility > Fantasy·
free > paywalled·
public > polished·
ship > plan·
offline > cloud·
open > closed·
Utility > Fantasy·
free > paywalled·
public > polished·
ship > plan·
offline > cloud·
open > closed·
rule 01
Utility > Fantasy
A tool that solves a real problem for one person beats a technically impressive demo that impresses nobody. Clever is vanity. Useful is virtue.
rule 02
Free > Paywalled
I grew up without access to expensive tools. Most people do. If I can make something free, I will. Open source is the only moat that compounds morally.
rule 03
Execution > Perfectionism
A broken thing in production teaches you more than a perfect thing in your head. Feedback is oxygen. Waiting to be ready is just fear with better PR.

"Prompting is a superpower — the quality of an LLM’s output is limited less by the model itself and more by the clarity, depth, and intelligence of the prompt behind it."
